Comfy beds and decent pub food
Staying here was nice. The room was super comfy and had this fab bath. Food in the bar was tasty, especially that smoked trout quiche. Only thing, the bar snacks were a bit pricey for what you get. Breakfast? Not great—cheap bread and not much fruit. Still, had fun and the vibe was chill.

Perfect retreat for couples
Had a fantastic night here, the room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed. The dinner was a highlight, fresh ingredients and fantastic pies, just like mom used to make.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but honestly, worth every penny.

Entry codes for the building felt a bit too impersonal. a greeting would have been nice. The lack of in-house dining service during the evening led to a missed opportunity for a cozy meal. While breakfast had good variety, the absence of staff made it less appealing to eat in. Noise from the plumbing system was disruptive at night, limiting sleep quality more than expected for the price. Communication regarding access codes could have been clearer, especially for those without reliable internet.

Comfortable room, accommodating staff, with free wifi and a cozy bar/lounge area where I enjoyed a lovely breakfast before exploring the surroundings.
Everything was as expected.

missingWrote a review on Jul 12comfortable roomgenerous breakfastcozy chairconfusing check-in
The Double Room featured striking decor and a cozy chair, making unwinding effortless after a long day. Buffet breakfast offered generous options, including fresh fruit and an array of cereals, hitting the mark for variety.
The coffee maker in the room posed a bit of a puzzle, lacking clear instructions, which could be inconvenient for those not familiar with it. The bath might put some off who prefer a quick shower, and the lack of a detachable shower head felt like a miss for hair rinsing needs. longer electrical leads would have been handy for easier kettle access. The check-in process felt odd without any in-person greeting or welcome, leaving a sense of anonymity that might deter some from dining at the hotel.

The room was really comfy with a good-sized bed and a nice bathroom. Everything was spotless, which I loved. Plus, there was a quality coffee machine with a bunch of coffee pods—so nice to have! But the noise from the busy road outside was a bit annoying at times, even though the windows were pretty soundproof.

The stay was quite unique as it felt deserted upon arrival. access was through a door code without any staff present. The room was clean, but the bed was a bit worn out. In the morning, breakfast was self-service with a limited selection, which didn't meet my expectations. One highlight was the range of teas available, despite the absence of a kettle. if you're just looking for a place to spend the night and can manage without typical B&B amenities, this can work for you.
